Frederike has been using her camera as a tool of empowerment since her teens. Identifying as a female photographer with a queer gaze, she embraces a diverse approach driven by a vision of a more colorful world.

Her photography is known for its vibrant saturation, empathy and boldness, often pushing the boundaries between the loud and the subtle, between documentary and fiction.

Graduating from design school and working as a lecturer, photo editor and art director in music and pop culture for years, Frederike possesses a strong conceptual foundation. Nevertheless, her personal and commercial work remains spontaneous, fueled by her genuine curiosity and enthusiasm.

Always positive and energetic, she produces a continuous stream of creative output. While she enjoys experimenting with various imaging procedures, photographic styles and techniques, her work still remains true to her unique and recognizable signature look.
