Playing with light is elemental for Sebastian Donath. In his pictures he consciously captures the light in every moment.

With every image he is creating a world that goes beyond the visible - he tells stories, awakens memories and evokes emotions. In focus and in front of his lens: people, objects and landscapes in all their diversity - staged minimalistically and with high contrast, but always with a playful touch and a strong feeling for details.

Before he became a photographer he trained as carpenter and studied design and photography in Dessau. Today he is happy to pass on his knowledge to young creative people as a lecturer.
